He was born in Ravenna, 1st May 1978.
Graduated in "Food's Science and Technology" at Bologna University, in 2002-2003 he attended Guido Guidi's photography course at the Ravenna Fine Arts Academy and in 2004-2005 the photography course at IED (European Institute of Design) in Rome, obtaining top marks (30/30).
His solo exhibitions include I/O (photographic installation, Ravenna 2003), Il Sonno Dei Nuclei (Ravenna 2004) and Sources (FotoGrafia Festival, Roma 2007). His work has also appeared in collective shows such as NoBorder 4 (Ravenna 2004), f:8 (Matino 2005) and RAM VI (Ravenna 2007). He won the RAM 2006 photography's prize. In 2007 he exhibited Ravenna : Physiology, a wide project about spaces and people in Ravenna. In 2008 the book La Macchina del Porto (The Harbour's Machine) sow the light, an all-round assigned work on architectures and plants of Ravenna's industrial harbour. Later he concluded The Skyes Of Lalibela, the photographic/video documentation on assignment of the renewal works in an acient Ethiopian UNESCO site: Lalibela. In 2009 he won the Arteleku Prize (Spain) for best work in progress project, was selected to participate to Chobi Mela V, International Photography Festival in Dhaka (Bangladesh) and Area Progetto - National Selection at Civic Gallery of Modena (Italia). During the same year he took part to an A.I.R. project in Kristiansand (Norway), to develop a project and have a talking about large format photography.
